Meeting points & pick‑up with Ophorus: where your tour starts 📍🚐
How shared tour meeting points and private pick‑ups work in France

For most shared small‑group tours, we use a clear, central meeting point in each city:
- The exact address and a short description are shown on the tour page and on your booking voucher
- Meeting points are chosen for easy access by foot, taxi or public transport
- We usually recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you can find the spot calmly
- Bordeaux wine tours: in front of the Bordeaux Tourism Office
- Strasbourg, Colmar, Sarlat, Aix‑en‑Provence, Tours, Bayeux: each city has its own dedicated meeting point page in our Help Center
For most private tours and private shore excursions, we can be more flexible:
- In many cities, your driver‑guide can pick you up directly at your hotel, apartment or rental
- For shore excursions, pick‑up is usually arranged at, or very close to, the cruise terminal exit
- In some historic centres or restricted‑traffic areas, we may agree on a nearby, easy‑to‑reach meeting spot if vehicle access is limited
To be sure, always double‑check:
- Your booking confirmation and voucher – the precise address and description appear there
- The relevant article in our “Meeting points” section (for example “Bordeaux – Meeting Point”, “Strasbourg – Meeting Point”)
- The tour page itself, under the “Meeting point” or “Departure” information
👨👩👧 Traveling with kids or with limited mobility?
If you are:
- Traveling with young children or a stroller
- Carrying heavy luggage
- Walking with difficulty or using a mobility aid
- Your tour name and date
- The city or port of departure
- Where you will be staying (hotel or address)
Our team will double‑check everything and send you clear instructions so you can start your tour with total peace of mind ✨
